Dr. Martens 1460 Souvenir Embroidered Leather
These new boots take cues from Japanese souvenir (Sukajan) jackets, popular with dissident Japanese youths in the 40s and 50s. Back then, the DIY jackets were embroidered with illustrations, graphics and markings that meant something to the wearer. And this pair is no different. Detailed with winged tiger and skull designs, they’re built from black Nappa leather and marked with our signature yellow welt stitching and scripted AirWair heel loop.
- Born on 01.04.60. Named the 1460. Over six decades, our 8-eye work boot has become iconic
- Nappa is the softest leather in our archive: pliable and easy to wear in, with a natural smooth texture
